Membership in ISPD

ISPD offers two levels of membership, Professional and Student.  Both levels include online only access to the Prenatal Diagnosis journal, and an optional hard copy subscription is available at a substantial discount.  Professional membership includes voting privileges in the Society.  The reduced student membership rate is available to individuals who are enrolled full-time as a resident, fellow or graduate student in a program that will lead to appropriate degrees or certificates in subjects relating to prenatal diagnosis and therapy.  To qualify for a student membership, you must submit a letter from your academic advisor or department chair confirming your student status.  Click here for a Student Letter Template.  If applying for Student membership, have your academic advisor or department chair complete the Student Letter Template and mail/fax it with your application. To apply via email, mail or fax: You may complete the 2010 PDF Membership Application and mail or fax it to the address/number on the application.  Please be sure to include your e-mail address, so that we may process your online access to the Prenatal Diagnosis journal.  If applying for Student membership, please also have your academic advisor or department chair complete the Student Letter Template and mail/fax it with your application.

Benefits of Membership

• Prenatal Diagnosis, the official journal of the International Society for Prenatal Diagnosis — The Journal provides space for newsworthy announcements of interest to the scientific community.  All ISPD members receive online access to the Journal as part of membership.  In addition, an optional hard copy subscription is available for US$100, a small fraction of the normal individual subscription rate.
  
• ISPD Members-Only Website — Members receive access to the members-only area on the site, featuring content exclusively for members and a searchable directory of member contact information.  By using the directory, are able to network with each other and further the international advancement of prenatal diagnosis.
  
• Member News — Members receive periodic communications from ISPD Headquarters regarding the activities of the Society.
