Trainee membership is open to individuals who are enrolled full-time as a resident, fellow or graduate trainee in a program that will lead to appropriate degrees or certificates in subjects relating to prenatal diagnosis and therapy. Trainee members shall pay dues but shall not have voting rights nor be eligible for election to office. A candidate for Trainee membership shall submit a letter from his/her academic advisor or program department chair confirming his/her trainee status. Each year that an individual applies for Trainee membership, a new letter from his/her academic advisor or department chair, confirming his/her continuation in the full-time program shall be submitted with dues payment. The trainee member dues rate shall be established each year by the Board of Directors.*
The Conference Program Committee may establish discounted trainee member rates for the ISPD International Conference on Prenatal Diagnosis and Therapy. Eligibility for trainee rates for the conference shall be established as described above.
*At this time, trainee member rates may be offered to trainee members for an additional two years after completion of the training program.
