President's Message, Louise Wilkins-Haug, MD, PhD

Join us for the 2019 ISPD International Conference on Prenatal Diagnosis and Therapy in Singapore, 7-11 September 2019. Can’t make the meeting? Watch for select sessions and SIG breakouts to be streamed - stay tuned for more information!

Engaging the Next Generation is offering complimentary ISPD membership for a limited time to trainees of all types. Why join ISPD? By becoming a Society member, you join a community of like-minded individuals with all levels of experience. Your contributions to a collective group provide opportunities for growth, involvement with a wide range of individuals, and exposure to new ideas.

For trainees, a dedicated portion of the ISPD website will house a toolkit of resources for career growth. Collected from the Board members are their “go-to” papers, videos and quick tips for scientific writing, how to review articles, presentations using the newest digital aids, and mentoring - mentee guides. A Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) webpage answers commonly asked questions such as “How do I get engaged with the Society?" "Why join?" "How can I network at the conference and throughout the year?”

I encourage all trainees and junior faculty to sign up now for the complimentary membership and watch for the growing members-only trainee site on
