President's Message, Louise Wilkins-Haug, MD, PhD

Join us for the 2019 ISPD International Conference on Prenatal Diagnosis and Therapy in Singapore, 7-11 September 2019. Can’t make the meeting? Watch for select sessions and SIG breakouts to be streamed - stay tuned for more information!

Engaging the Next Generation is offering complimentary ISPD membership for a limited time to trainees of all types. Why join ISPD? By becoming a Society member, you join a community of like-minded individuals with all levels of experience. Your contributions to a collective group provide opportunities for growth, involvement with a wide range of individuals, and exposure to new ideas.

For trainees, a dedicated portion of the ISPD website will house a toolkit of resources for career growth. Collected from the Board members are their “go-to” papers, videos and quick tips for scientific writing, how to review articles, presentations using the newest digital aids, and mentoring - mentee guides. A Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) webpage answers commonly asked questions such as “How do I get engaged with the Society?" "Why join?" "How can I network at the conference and throughout the year?”

I encourage all trainees and junior faculty to sign up now for the complimentary membership and watch for the growing members-only trainee site on ISPDhome.org.

“Structural surveys for women with high BMIs”

The Imaging in Pregnancy SIG is providing ISPD members such a series and more over the coming months.

Members can access recorded presentations online at their convenience.

Sharing knowledge through numerous channels promotes the Society’s mission of advancing the science and practice of genetics and fetal care worldwide.
